Britney Spears Fires Back At Bodyguard Lawsuit
Britney Spears is firing back at Fernando Flores, the former bodyguard who filed a lawsuit against her this week.
In an emotional distress suit filed in Los Angeles, Flores claimed Spears made "repeated unwanted sexual advances" on him and acted inappropriately with other men in front of her two young sons. Today the pop star responds in a statement on her blog, saying Flores' allegations are baseless.
From Britney's statement:
This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself. The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores' accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts.
Britney's ex, Kevin Federline, has also dismissed Flores' claims, saying through his attorney that "the allegations are a product of economic motives" and adding that they are "as baseless as they seem."
