One standout member does not a better boy band make. The Commodores were not better than the Temptations because Lionel Ritchie was in their group. mTV/RollingStone Mag had it right. In their top 100 pop songs since 1950, Backstreet's I Want It That Way was #10-right up there with the Beatles, Micheal Jackson, Madonna, Nirvana, Eagles...where was Bye,Bye,Bye, unarguably nsync's Top hit? #54. I'm sorry but Backstreet's song catalog is huge, and full og far more classics of their era than nsync's.
I still love them! They both have beautiful singing voices, which matche so well together, and they're still hot!

NSYNC NSYNC NSYNC. favorite boy band of all time! besides the Jackson 5. they were my favorite! i still know their songs & dances by heart. i have NSYNC N THE MIX memorized haha. Justin was sooo fine, he still is DONT CARE what anyone says theyll always be better than BSB. though i like their songs. its not the same (: im still hoping for a reunion! i completely agree. i still listen to nsync, and im not ashamed to admit it. justin was always my favorite, and i still love him. the bsb aren't anything compared to nsync!!! tearing up my heart!!!!! =^ ^=

i think all those 3-peolpe bands are no 'boybands' . boybands are 4 or 5 young guys (all different so every girl can have her favourite) and only 1 or 2 sing and the others are the choir in the background. ohh, and their true success lasts about 2 years. i hate 'em
