LeAnn Rimes is taking heat from current boyfriend Eddie Cibrian’s ex-wife and mother of his children, Brandi Glanville.

Glanville reportedly learned Saturday one of her sons ended up in the emergency room after Rimes tweeted:

“Flew home for 5 hrs to see Eddie and the lil one’s and ended up in the ER!”

Glanville was upset about finding out the news via Twitter -- and not directly from Eddie or LeAnn -- and opened up with E! News, saying:

"All I know is I didn't get a phone call. Poor choice. Bad parenting."

Rimes fired back at Glanville and her accusations, tweeting:

"To be really honest, it's not her place to tell me how to be. I respect her as their mom, but she has to understand they're in my life. I can talk about my life just like she can take about her's.”

Good luck to Cibrian who is caught in the middle of his past and present love interests.

What would you have done in this situation, called the mother or tweeted first? Comment below.

Love LeAnn (though not lately) but she the mother is right in this situation. It is about the children. The father or her should have let her know. That is "respecting" the mom. Worse is that LeAnn doesn't seem to get it. It is not all about her and her right to do what she wants. She obviously didn't learn that in her marriage either. Where is her head these days?

LeAnn Rimes needs to get over herself. If you care so much about those children then call their mom if they get hurt-don't tweet about it.It's called common courtesy. How would she feel if the shoe were on the other foot?

dont tweet about other people's kids going to er, at least not without giving the parent a heads up. its disrespectful and it must be frightening to find out your kid is in the ER via someone else's twitter!
