Warrant Issued For Lindsay Lohan’s Arrest

/ September 20, 2010

Lindsay Lohan’s probation has been revoked and a bench warrant has been issued for her arrest following her failed drug test last week.

TMZ reports that the bench warrant is being held until 8:30 a.m. PT on Friday, when the Mean Girls actress is ordered to appear in court.

This is the third time this year that a warrant has been issued for Lindsay’s arrest. A warrant was issued for the 24-year-old actress’ arrest after she missed a court appearance in May. Lindsay’s team posted bail for the star (who was at the time stuck in Cannes, France after she allegedly lost her passport) and she appeared in court once she arrived stateside. A second warrant was issued in June after Lindsay’s alcohol-monitoring SCRAM anklet went off at an MTV Movie Awards afterparty.

Lindsay admitted that she failed a court-ordered drug test on Friday. This weekend the star was spotted attending an AA meeting in West Hollywood, CA. The actress reportedly tested positive for cocaine. On Monday, TMZ reported that Lohan’s second failed test was due to amphetamines.

Lindsay wrote on her Twitter that she was “prepared to appear before Judge Fox” as a result of her failed drug test.

Lindsay was recently released early from inpatient rehab at UCLA. The blonde starlet was originally sentenced to 90 days in inpatient rehab but her rehab doctors petitioned to get her released earlier and remain in outpatient rehab.

Lindsay is reportedly facing additional jail time as a result of her failed drug test.
