Lindsay Lohan to Reportedly Rehab Again

/ September 27, 2010

After a pair of failed drug tests and a 15-hour jail stint, Lindsay Lohan may soon be headed back to rehab — for the fifth time.

Lohan posted $300,000 bail to be released from jail on Friday and now TMZ reports the 24-year-old actress “will enter a live-in facility outside of Los Angeles within days.” According to the report, Lohan is going voluntarily and not because tough Judge Elden Fox is mandating it.

The fallen star still faces more jail time when she reports to a probation violation hearing on Oct. 22. In the meantime, Lindsay is attempting to foster goodwill with the community by volunteering at a Los Angeles homeless shelter, tweeting on Sunday night about her visit to The Dream Center: “It’s so important to give back. I feel blessed.”

Lindsay’s latest relapse puts her already-troubled career on even shakier ground, as the writer/producer of the romantic comedy One Night With You says he’s weighing his options after offering the lead to Lohan. Richard O’Sullivan told WENN, “It is ready-made for Lindsay… but we’re proceeding with extreme caution while the Lohan family sorts through their issues during a very trying time.”

The casting rumor mill says Taylor Swift could be tapped as her replacement.
