Selena Gomez Talks About Her UNICEF Work (VIDEO)
With red-hot TV, movie and music careers to juggle, Selena Gomez could be forgiven if she decided she just wanted to kick back during her free time. But the 18-year-old Disney princess also crams an admirable amount of charitable work into her schedule, serving as the youngest ambassador ever for the United Nation's Children's Fund (UNICEF).
The Wizards of Waverly Place star recently appeared on CNN to discuss the work that she's been doing with the organization, from promoting their annual Trick or Treat fund-raising drive to her recent trip to Ghana:
"It was such a life-changing experience, being able to hear these kids' stories...Seeing how these kids die every day from preventable causes really just breaks my heart; I gained an education and really felt humbled after that."
