Lil Wayne's Mail a Jail Fire Hazard (VIDEO)
An average musician might not top the iTunes sales charts while serving out an eight month prison sentence, but Lil Wayne is not one of them.
In light of the release of his chart-topping new EP I Am Not a Human Being and his 28th birthday, Weezy called into MTV's new daily show The Seven yesterday direct from Rikers Island to talk about the unsafe amount of fan mail he's received, hugging his children, and the "realization" that he is, in fact, inhuman.
Wayne claims he's "got a million pieces of mail" since checking into Rikers back in March, averaging 150 letters a day, but was forced to start sending them all home after the sheer volume of paper living in his cramped cell caused prison workers to fear the letters posed a fire hazard.
On his new EP and making music again, Weezy said, "I love recording. That's what I like to do next to breathing."

Wayne stayed on the line until later in the program (can you blame him for not giving up the phone?), when he surprised Young Money cohort Drake with a "what's up."
