Brad Goreski Quits ‘The Rachel Zoe Project’

After nearly two years as head styling assistant for Rachel Zoe, Brad Goreski has decided to leave the Zoe camp in order to pursue other career path, People reports.

Goreski joined the stylist-to-the-stars and her team in 2008 as then-lead styling assistant Taylor Jacobson’s apprentice. Upon Jacobson’s acrimonious departure from both Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project and the company itself, Goreski was quickly promoted and could be seen hitting the runways with Zoe. The break-up was entirely civil, they claim, and Zoe makes it clear the pair will remain friends. She says:

“We have a relationship that’s not normal. I jump into bed with him and wake him up and we have these powwows and he’s like, ‘Wow, I haven’t brushed my teeth,’…I don’t want to hire somebody for the purpose of the show, we just got lucky. No one’s ever going to be Brad to me.”

Brad says of his now former boss:

“I love Rachel and she’s taught me everything I know…But there’s a point where either I do it now or I’ll never know what it’s like to spread my wings and soar.”
