Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress Inspires Jewelry Line

Lady Gaga is known for being a trendsetter but does she have enough starpower to make it cool to wear meat?

The “Bad Romance” singer’s meat dress from this year’s VMAs has already inspired young designers to embrace the meatier side of fashion. Onch Movement, a LA-based jewelry company, has created the “meat-lace,” a (faux) meat necklace that the company says was inspired by the famous fashionplate.

From Onch Movement’s online store:

Lady Gaga and her famous meat dress serve as direct inspiration for this creation. The outrageous and controversial meat dress caused quite a stir among the fashion world, animal lovers and activists. (But FEAR NOT PETA the Meat-cessory line is 100% animal friendly!)

The unisex necklace is made from “animal free material” and comes on an 18-inch black and gold chain.

The “meat-cessory” can be yours for a very reasonable $55. Sure, it may not be as cheap as Gaga’s meat creation but at least this necklace won’t grow rancid over time.
