Taylor Swift Wants a Man With ‘Passion’
Want to become Taylor Swift‘s next boyfriend? Take notes, guys, because she’s giving out pointers.
The 20-year-old Fearless beauty covers the November 2010 issue of Glamour magazine and, though she hasn’t has the best romantic track record thus far in life—as less than idyllic relationships with Joe Jonas and Taylor Lautner (as well as own song catalog) will attest—Swift does open up about the qualities that she’s looking for in a guy:
“When I’m getting to know someone, I look for someone who has passions that I respect, like his career. Someone who loves what he does is really attractive. In high school, I used to think it was ‘like sooooo cool’ if a guy had an awesome car. Now none of that matters. These days I look for character and honesty and trust.”
Swift also dishes on her well-documented tendency to chronicle her love life in song:
“Everything that happens to me gets put into a song. For some reason, I’m really comfortable talking about my personal life in songs. There, I don’t hold back: names, dates, times, expressions on people’s faces, exactly where we were and how it felt, what I wish I would have said to them in the moment. So I’m not only excited about sharing the songs with fans; I’m also pretty interested to hear the response from the guys I’ve written about on this record.”
Maybe she should add “a total lack of self-consciousness” to her list of desired traits in a partner.
Given her list of requirements, who do you think would be a good romantic fit for Taylor? Let us know in the comments section.
