New ‘Twilight’ Book Due Next Year

/ October 6, 2010

Twilight authoress Stephenie Meyer has another book about your favorite vampire saga on the way, and you’ll be able to pick it up on April 12, 2011.

Sadly, while it’s not a sequel to the tale of Edward Cullen, Bella Swan, et al, The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide (Little, Brown; $24.95) will serve as an ultra-comprehensive reference book filled with information that even the most dedicated Twi-Hard might not be familiar with, including “character profiles, outtakes, a conversation with Meyer, genealogical charts, maps, extensive cross-references, and much more,” according to the publishers.

Meyer says of the tome,

“I’m always amazed at how many in-depth questions my readers have about my characters and the world within the Twilight Saga. With The Official Illustrated Guide, I hoped we could incorporate as many details as possible, including character histories, like Alice’s back story.”
