Is a Lindsay Lohan Rehab Reality Show on the Way?
Lindsay Lohan might be getting real about her most recent stay in rehab. Or at least reality-TV real about it.
Kikster reports that LiLo's mother, Dina Lohan, is shopping around a reality series concept revolving around the actress' current stay at the Betty Ford Center, where she's undergoing rehab treatment after testing positive on a court-mandated drug test.
According to a source,
“Not only has Dina been 'shopping' around her upcoming trip to visit Lindsay in rehab at Betty Ford...to media outlets for the sale of pictures BUT she is doing it to develop a new REALITY SHOW!"
This would be far from the Lohan clan's first foray into reality TV. In addition to the 2008 E! series Living Lohan, Lindsay and her mom filmed a Mother's Day special earlier this year.
Tradition aside, there's at least one person who's not thrilled about the idea: Lindsay's father, Michael Lohan, who scoffs,
"She can't get a show about her own life, so she's using Lindsay's troubles to get her a reality show."
Of course, Michael has had his own fair share of ill-conceived notions, so take his appraisal of the situation with a grain of salt.
