'Hangover' Cast Returns, Minus Heather Graham
Remember in The Hangover when Ed Helms' wasted character accidentally married a Las Vegas stripper, got divorced, but then later develops feelings for her? Don't expect that plot line to go any further in the sequel, because Heather Graham isn't returning despite having told E! back in December that she was hoping for a reprisal.
On the up side, the entire core cast, including Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, Ed Helms and Ken Jeong, will be returning to entertain us with another round of bad decisions. Filming has already started in Los Angeles, and it will continue next month in Bangkok.
Graham's downfall, according to Warner Bros., was the studio's decision to move the plot in a different direction: "Unfortunately Heather won't be in the sequel—the way the story unfolds doesn't allow any room for her character to show up. I don't want to reveal to much of the film, but once you see it you'll understand."
"Stu's Song" from the first Hangover should help heal the wounds made by Heather Graham's departure:
