Is 'The Hangover 2' Giving Zach Galifianakis a Headache?
Filming for sequel to the 2009 hit comedy The Hangover has just begun, but there are signs that one of the movie's stars, Zach Galifianakis, is already wishing he could block it out of his memory.
The Due Date funnyman recently granted an interview to podcast Comedy Death-Ray, and while he didn't come right out and explicitly state his displeasure with the film, which will lens on location in Thailand, he did note that he's "in a deep protest" over a current project.
After telling host Scott Aukerman that he's turned down several projects on moral grounds, Galifianakis offered,
"But a movie you're acting in, you don't have a lot of control — you just show up and vomit your lines out. I'm not the boss. I'm in a deep protest right now with a movie I'm working on, up in arms about something. But I can't get the guys to [listen] ... I'm not making any leeway."
When Aukerman sought to clarify, telling Galifianakis "I know you're filming The Hhhhhhh," the actor abruptly cut the host off, cagily offering,
"It has something to do with a movie I'm working on, yeah, I'll tell you about it later. It's very frustrating."
Maybe he's bummed out about having to spend time on the set with Mel Gibson? That could put a damper on any actor's spirit.
