Michael Lohan States: I’m Done Making Statements

Michael Lohan wants you to know he’s done talking to the media about his daughter, Lindsay Lohan, forever. And one more thing: don’t contact him. Oh, and one last thing: he’s sorry.

Papa Lohan issued a statement to this effect to the media today, perhaps as a peace offering directed straight at Lindsay, who is due in court on Friday to find out if she’ll be heading to jail or back to rehab.

“I want to make a public statement that I will not be commenting on ANYTHING relating to my daughter Lindsay, or ANYTHING my ex-wife Dina, or any ‘sources’ related to her, might say,” Lohan claims. “NO MATTER what accusations, lies or conjecture are disseminated to the public about me, for the sake of the ones I love and with hope of creating peace, I WILL NOT respond, in ANY way, to what is said or done, to me.”

“For the sake of those I offended,” he concludes, “I apologize and ask their forgiveness … So please refrain from calling or contacting me.”

Anyone left wanting more Lohan ranting is sure to be disappointed. Or will they? Tell us what you think. Are these the final words of Michael Lohan?
