Lea Michele to Join 'New Year's Eve' Cast?
Good news, Gleeks; you might be getting a big-screen dose of Lea Michele soon.
E! Online reports that the 24-year-old Glee beauty is in final talks to co-star in New Year's Eve, the sequel to this year's hit mega-ensemble comedy Valentine's Day.
Though specifics on her potential role aren't yet available and New Line Cinema has yet to officially announce that the sequel has been green-lighted, director Garry Marshall is extremely interested in bringing her on board. (Maybe he saw Lea's super-sexy GQ photo-shoot?)
Marshall is also reportedly trying to recruit former High School Musical stud Zac Efron, who was approached for a Valentine's Day role that eventually went to Twilight beefcake Taylor Lautner. What's more, the other names being thrown around for the cast include "Baby" sensation Justin Bieber, guaranteeing that the cast will include its US RDA of cherubic adorability.
Michele is currently voicing the title character for the animated Wizard of Oz update Dorothy of Oz, due out in Spring 2012.
