Taylor Swift Gets Juvenile in New Target Ad (VIDEO)

You have to hand it to Taylor Swift—the gal's not afraid to poke fun at her own image.

The 20-year-old Fearless songbird's new ad for Target, which is selling a special edition of Swift's new classic-to-be Speak Now, has been released, and in addition to the way groovy beatnik look she flaunted in a sneak peek of the ad, T-Swift takes the viewer back to fourth grade. It seems that Swift developed her penchant for chronicling the men in her life via song early, after having her heart broken by that cad Corey Robertson. (Who, we have it on good authority, also used to shake down the kindergarten kids for their milk money every day.)

Don't worry, though; as the ad goes on to note, Taylor managed to overcome her heartache and eventually became a first-rate Dolly Parton impersonator.

Watch Swifty goof on herself in the video below. Speak Now hits stores today. How excited are you to check it out? Let us know in the comments section.

    * Cool, if you can't poke fun at yourself then your not, mature enough yet to be taken seriously when making fun of someone else.*
