Bruno Mars Was The World’s Youngest Elvis Impersonator
Singer Bruno Mars was once the world’s youngest (and cutest) Elvis impersonator long before he found mainstream success on pop radio.
How long ago? Here’s a clip from a 1990 documentary about the long-lasting Elvis phenomenon called Viva Elvis that shows 4-year-old Bruno completely decked out in Elvis regalia, singing and dancing just like the King himself through several songs.
“I like his singing, and his dance, and his lip,” little Bruno said when asked why he chose Elvis. Growing up, his family’s business was a Graceland-like memorabilia shop in Hawaii.
