Bieber on Selena Football Date: 'She's a Sweetheart'

Sixteen-year-old Justin Bieber just gets more suave with age. The heartthrob and budding acoustic singer plays it cool when asked about his football game 'date' with pal Selena Gomez in a surprise appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show today.

After coyly telling Ellen he hit the game with buddy Jaden Smith (to watch Jaden's big bro Trey,) the Biebs admitted he was accompanied by the lovely Selena.

"We were at a high school game and she came too," the Biebs tells Ellen. "She's sweet. She's a sweetheart."

Though Selena, 18, has denied she's romantically involved with the Biebs, he tells Ellen he likes to "hang out with girls and date and stuff like every other 16-year-old."

Unfortunately Baby Biebs also says he's not immune to the all-too-common teen problem of bullying, telling Ellen, "everybody goes through bullying… even me."

"There are so many bullies.  It goes on so much," said Biebs, who was a possible victim at a recent laser tag center in Canada. "If you are a bystander you definitely should help out because it could be you next."
