Bristol Palin Disses Levi Johnston’s Bid for Mayor

Bristol Palin will not support Levi Johnston, the father of her child, during his 2011 run for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, according to an interview airing Monday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“He has to move to the city limits and get his GED before he can actually run,” Bristol criticized. “If he wants to continue his education, that’s great.”

Ellen then asked, “Do you think he’d be a good Mayor? Do you think he knows about politics?”

“No,” Bristol replied. “It is an important position, and I don’t think he knows what he is getting himself into.”

The position in question was once held by Sarah Palin long before she rose to the global scene. If all goes to plan for Levi, his run will be chronicled on a new show called Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor’s Office

On the subject of new love, the ex-governor’s daughter isn’t bothered that she has nothing in the works: “It’s really hard for me to want to date after the situation I had myself in, and I’m not worried about a boyfriend right now.”
