‘Twilight’ Dominates People’s Choice Nominations

The people have spoken, and what they’ve said is, they’re still really, really into Twilight.

The nominees for the 2011 People’s Choice Awards were announced on Tuesday, and there’s a whole lot of sparkly vampire love amid the list of candidates. Not only is The Twilight Saga: Eclipse up for awards in the Favorite Movie and Favorite Drama Movie categories, but Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson is in contention for Favorite Movie Actor (in a competitive field that also includes Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr. and—surprise, surprise—R-Pattz’s Twilight co-star, Taylor Lautner).

Pattinson’s leading lady, Kristen Stewart, will be vying against Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Katherine Heigl in the Favorite Movie Actress category, while both Pattinson and Stewart will both be competing against each other in the Favorite Movie Star Under 25 field. In addition, Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner are up for Favorite On-Screen Team honors for their work in Eclipse.
