Wynter Gordon: Dance Queen With Taylor Swift Aspirations
As the dance music trend continues its groundswell towards becoming one of today’s most prominent music genres, Wynter Gordon is looking to establish herself as one of the industry’s top club staples.
The 25-year-old singer-songwriter worked her way up through the business by penning songs for some of today’s biggest artists. Her writing credits include tunes for Jennifer Lopez and Mary J. Blige, but as Gordon told Celebuzz earlier this week, there’s one person she’d love to lay some ink down for: “I’d love to write a song for Taylor Swift, because we’d make a lot of money together,” Gordon joked.
Gordon’s recent writer-turned-artist rise got a huge boost from her single ‘Dirty Talk’ with dance music icon David Guetta. Now, she just released her new EP ‘The First Dance’ and is hoping to cause a shift in the way people listen to music.
“Nowadays there’s a sound on the radio that’s all one formula of music. Back in the day, people used to write crazy things. I want music to go back there,” Gordon told Celebuzz.
