Lindsay Lohan: Home for the Holidays?

Lindsay Lohan isn't going to let a little thing like a court-mandated rehab stint ruin her holidays. At least, not if she can help it.

TMZ reports that the 24-year-old actress, who's currently sentenced to treatment at the Betty Ford Center until January, is hoping that the treatment facility will allow her to go home to Long Island so she can spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with her family.

Lohan has already been granted roaming privileges around the Southern California region so that she can fulfill professional obligations.

Last week, Lohan reunited with her estranged father, Michael, who took his daughter out for a shopping excursion after meeting up with her at Betty Ford. Perhaps she's hoping to pull off a holiday miracle and pull her entire family together this Yuletide?

So far, TMZ reports, Betty Ford has made no decision on the matter.

Do you think Lindsay Lohan will be allowed to go home for the holidays? Should they be? Let us know in the comments section.

If they let her go home for the holidays they should at least decorate her SCRAM bracelet with Christmas lights.

No, I don't. The holidays are the prime season for partying, drinking and the like - the same behaviors which she is rehab for in the first place. Yes, it's sad that she may not spend the holidays with her family, but it's what's best for her in the long run...especially considering who her family is.

no...I don't ...the reason they say they are keeping her in Betty Ford till January 3rd is so she doesn't replase over the holdiays....duhhhhhhhhhhhh why even bother with her if all these execptions are permiited. Treat her like a real person and perhaps she'll become one.
