Sure, Justin Bieber is, technically, Canadian, but that didn’t stop him from stealing the show at the 2010 American Music Awards.
The “Baby” sensation belted out a soulful, intimate rendition of “Pray” at tonight’s ceremony at the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, and also scored honors for Breakthrough Artist and Best Pop/Rock Artist, Male and Artist of the Year.

AMA is a popularity contest by voters. Tween power obviously was dominating. What’s up with his strained voice? He tried so hard to squeeze voice and couldn’t hit notes at all. Where is the American Music going? This 8 year old looking puppet with immature vocal ability is certainly taking the American music nowhere.
