Miley Cyrus rocked the red carpet at the American Music Awards at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on Sunday night, working a dress with a full-on train.
The Hannah Montana star, who turns 18 on Tuesday, is scheduled to perform "Forgiveness and Love" at tonight's ceremony.

Considering everything that has been happening in Miley's life over the past few weeks, I think her song has a great deal of meaning. It also has a very strong message for young people about forgiveness and love and how important it is to have those in your life. Not every message needs to be important to a particular group of people,sometimes the most important messages are the ones we send ourselves and our loved ones. I truly think that is what Miley's choice of songs was really about.
