As it turns out, Rihanna really is the only girl (in the world)—to have achieved seven Number 1 songs on the Billboard pop chart.

The "Umbrella" singer's latest single, "Only Girl (in the World)" will take the top slot in Billboard's December 4, 2010 chart, making for the seventh song featuring her to reach the Number 1 position, setting a new record in the chart's 18-year history.

With this latest Number 1 single, Ri-RI surpasses Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga, each of whom have placed six songs in the Number One position.

Rihanna's previous Number 1 songs on Billboard's pop chart are "SOS," "Take a Bow," "Disturbia," "Live Your Life," "Rude Boy" and her collaboration with Eminem, "Love the Way You Lie." The singer's latest album Loud, meanwhile, which was released on November 16, is expected to debut in the Top 10 of Billboard's next Hot 100 chart.

Have you bought Loud yet? What do you think of it? Let us know in the comments section.
