CELEBUZZ: What was the best holiday gift you ever received?
RICHARDS: The best holiday gift I ever received was my first pair of diamond stud earrings from my boyfriend at the time … I loved them and still have them.
What was the best holiday gift you ever gave?
The best holiday gift I gave was a generous donation for cancer research in honor of my mom and on behalf of my friends.
Tell us your favorite holiday memory.
I have two, my daughter Sami’s first Christmas and my daughter Lola’s first Christmas. There ain’t nothing like it.
How do you keep in touch with family and friends over the holidays?
During the holidays a lot of our friends come over. I love it. Many can’t get back home and some lost parents, so we have a huge Christmas at my house. Nobody is left out. Everyone is welcome … We cook and have a great time with lots of love!
Does your family have any fun holiday traditions?
Every year I have a snow party for the kids. It’s so fun! That has become our tradition.
What is your idea of a perfect holiday?
The holidays in the last couple years have been tough. I lost my mom right after Thanksgiving three years ago. My ideal perfect holiday? To have my mom for one more day.
What’s the most important thing about the holidays to you?
The holidays were so special to my family growing up. It’s all about the ones you love and being grateful. I want to pass that on to my kids.
Tell us your funniest/most embarrassing holiday memory?
Last year on Christmas Eve my daughters found their gifts with their name on them. I had to re-wrap all their presents in different paper so they thought Santa brought them the next morning!
Out of anyone you know, who needs a Window Phone and why?
My dad could use the new Windows Phone. My sister and I tease him that he has a phone from 1970!
