James Franco Does ‘Inside the Actor’s Studio’ (VIDEO)
Oscar host-in-waiting James Franco made his much-ballyhooed-about appearance on Bravo’s Inside the Actors Studio on Tuesday night, inspiring uproarious laughter with a tale about how he almost failed to nab his starring role in his acclaimed film 127 Hours because the director thought he was, um, high!
James revealed that his initial meeting with Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle was a little, how shall we say, dicey.
The jack-of-all-trades revealed that Danny “thought I was stoned at the meeting. Somebody told him that I wasn’t and I’m just very ‘relaxed’ and he should give me another chance, so he did and that was it and then he gave me the role.”
