Dig the cowboy boots out of the closet, true Beliebers; Justin Bieber is going country!
The 16-year-old “Baby” singer will be recording with “These Days” group Rascal Flatts for the upcoming follow-up to his My World 2.0 album. Rascal Flatts vocalist Gary LeVox told Nashville radio station WSIX that the group was asked to collaborate by the singer personally, noting,
“(Justin) asked us to do a duet with him on his next record. It’s actually a really good song!”
The singer himself confirmed the news on his Twitter account, raving,
“I love @RascalFlatts and I’m honored that they are making music with me.”
Bieber capped the confirmation with a link to the video for the group’s song “My Wish.”
LeVox and company won’t be the only ones helping the Biebs make his next album a star-studded extravaganza; Ne-Yo is also reportedly collaborating with the singer.
