Demi Lovato Leaves Rehab for Family Holiday
Lovato received a day pass on Christmas and spent the time with her mother Dianna, stepdad Eddie De la Garza and her two sisters.
In the days before the holiday, it was learned that Demi would spend the holiday in the treatment center rather than go home for the weekend. Instead, her family went to her.
Lovato has been in treatment since an incident where she allegedly punched dancer Alex Welch while on tour with The Jonas Brothers in South America. Late last week, it was announced that Lovato and Welch had reached a settlement regarding the incident, and that Welch wouldn't be pursuing further legal action against the Sonny With a Chance starlet.

i feel so sorry for demi :(. i might not be her biggest fan, but no one deserves the sh*t that she goes through.

She don't need rehab she just punched a person that pissed her off thats normal!!!! I would of done the same thing. umm she didnt JUST punch a girl, she has eating problems, she cuts herself, she has to deal with bullying and alot of other pressures, etc, like going on tour with her ex(joe j) and his new gf (ashely G) for months, etc etc, i love her so much, and im happy shes doing this anndd STICKING to it, it will help her alot and im so happy and proud of her :)

people are pathetic. going on this just to 'hate'. im glad for demi, unlike most people on this i dont want her out immediately, i want her to come out when shes ready and hopefully now we can see (by her getting this holiday) shes recovering, and i hope she gets better soon. shes a great rolemodel despite everything that happened since like october, thats what is good about her: she realised she has a problem and got help for it. not turned to alcohol and drugs or whatever. cant wait til shes back out and getting her new album out & doing sonny again :)xx
