Demi Lovato Plans to Tour in 2011

Good news for Demi Lovato fans: the currently rehabbing Disney star promises that despite her recent personal problems, her 2011 solo tour is still on track and the ticket prices will be cheaper than ever!

The Sonny with a Chance star told AP that she plans to keep ticket prices low for her upcoming solo tour because she doesn’t want to price out some fans who are still reeling from the recession.

“I have best friends that aren’t in the industry and are dealing with just buying groceries and things like that, so I want to do my part,” Demi said.

Meanwhile, Demi’s reps confirmed to AP that the star will be continuing on with her 2011 tour (and upcoming third solo album) despite the fact that she has been in an in-patient treatment facility for “emotional and physical issues” since Halloween weekend.

Demi’s treatment hasn’t been without some bright spots: the 18-year-old star was given a day pass over the weekend to spend Christmas with her mother, Donna, and step-father, Eddie de la Garza. However, Demi will still remain in treatment following her special visit with her family.

Demi had to abruptly quit her South American tour with the Jonas Brothers after she allegedly punched back-up dancer (and former BFF) Alex Welch. Demi checked into a rehab center shortly after she quit the tour.

Aside from her personal issues, Demi knows the pain of high ticket prices: her tour with the JoBros in America was cut short due to poor ticket sales in some cities.
