Chris Brown Defends Himself After Gay Slurs
Chris Brown is once again at the center of a controversy sparked by a Twitter flare-up that resulted in Brown hurling gay slurs at a fellow artist, which then led to violent threats from the other side.
The initial beef began when Brown and B2K rapper Raz exchanged words after the latter namedropped Brown and referenced his assault on Rihanna in a Tweet, asking “how can n—-s like @ebenet & @ChrisBrown disrespect women as Intelligent as @HalleBerry11 @Rihanna.”
Brown fired back on his Twitter with a vengeance, likely referencing Raz’s previous claims that his band’s male manager had molested him, saying: “Tell me this @razb2k!! Why when the money was coming in u won’t complaining about getting butplugged! #homothug!!!”
The two continued to exchange vicious Tweets back and forth, leading Brown to quickly clarify his statement after Raz accused him of homophobia. Brown declared: “I’m not homophobic! He’s just disrespectful!!!” He also went on to say: “BTW… i love all my gay fans and this immature act is not targeted at you!!!! love”
Later Wednesday night, Raz’s brother Ricky fanned the flames even further, telling Brown on Twitter: “i think you a talented artist but im still gonna shove my pistol in your mouth if i catch you alone w/ no security lol.God Night.”
Celebuzz is awaiting word from Brown’s publicist on the matter.
