Taylor Momsen Apologizes to Mom and Dad
Remember when Taylor Momsen blamed her feisty 'tude on the fact that her parents forced her into the (modeling) workforce at the tender age of 2? Well, she's didn't really mean to say that.
The Gossip Girl actress tells Britain's Kerrang! (via Starpulse) magazine that her comments were taken out of context when she told WENN that she's occasionally "miserable" and "upset" because her 'rents "signed me up with Ford (modeling agency) at the age of two."
"No two year old wants to be working, but I had no choice," Taylor lamented. "My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn't have friends. I was working constantly and I didn't have a real life."
In a rare moment of softness, Taylor now lets her parents off the hook, revealing she didn't really mean to slam mom and dad who felt "horrible" about her comments.
"I love my mom and dad. Maybe I didn't have the childhood people think you should have, but I still went through the ages, I was still a child," she tells Kerrang!. "Maybe it wasn't a conventional one, but you know... I like where I am now so it's OK."
"I think my parents have learned by this point that none of (what they read) is probably true, and words can be put in your mouth," Taylor added. Maybe that explains Taylor's Craziest Quotes!
