2011 BAFTA Nominations (FULL LIST)-photo
The 2011 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) were announced Tuesday morning and – much like the 2011 Golden Globe nominations – there were a few surprises thrown into the mix.

Newcomer Hailee Steinfeld was nominated for Best Leading Actress for her role on True Grit and Easy A star (and Golden Globe nominee) Emma Stone will battle against Andrew Garfield for the Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award.

Mysterious street artist Banksy was also nominated for the Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer for his directorial debut in Exit Through the Gift Shop.
