Ricky Gervais Strips to Gold 'Ellen' Undies

After telling Ellen DeGeneres on her Saturday show that he only wears "Ellen" underwear for special occasions, Sunday's Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais was given a custom pair of metallic gold boxers by the talk-show host to wear during the awards ceremony.

But to prove that he did, in fact, wear the golden trunks at the Golden Globes, the British comedian sent DeGeneres two photos of himself on a balcony striking a Herculean pose, wearing nothing but her gift.

Of course, the photos help the controversial actor reshape his image as well. Fans of Gervais from his Office days remember that he was chunky when he became famous, so these photos represent the completion of a change for him.
