Britney Spears Auctions Dress for Sick Child
The pop star’s assistant Brett tweeted the details of the charity auction on her account:
Such a great cause. Brit donated her dress from the Radiance ad to our friend David, who started a trust for his son with a brain injury. He put the dress up for auction & all proceeds will go to his son’s cause.
A Spears’ family friend, David Van Daff, has a 2-year-old son who was born with brain damage and now suffers from quadriplegic cerebral palsy, chronic lung disease and seizures. As a result, he requires costly 24-hour care.
Whoever wins the auction will not only help a child in need, but they’ll get the dress and a certificate of authenticity. The bidding currently stands at $7,300 and will run until January 29.
