'Eclipse' Tops Razzies Nominations
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner are all up for Golden Raspberries for their performances in the third installment of The Twilight Saga. The entire Eclipse cast is up the Worst Screen Ensemble as well as Worst Picture. Yikes!
Eclipse tied with M. Night Shymalan's The Last Airbender for the most Razzie nominations this year.
This isn't the first time that the Twilight cast has been nominated for a Golden Raspberry: RPattz, KStew and TLaut have all been nominated in years past for their work on the first two Twilight Saga films.

We don't need these awards to tell us how awful the movies were.
I quite agree that the movie did not live upto the expectations. Infact, the entire series has been such a huge disappointment for any book lover. Even if that is not the case, the script/dialogues do not have the magic of Edward/Bella/Jacob and rest all of the vampire/werewolf clan just look like a mere footage, which is not the case in the book. Perhaps, someone, at some point in the distant future can actually get the essence of these characters and perhaps, take it into a TV show that has a chance of showing the characters in a better light and allow all the characters to develop. And though all the characters are handsome and beautiful, they just did not live upto the "concept" of twilight magic - perhaps due to poor script/direction! And it is such a shame that the author has not demanded more of her book, when such a beautiful love story, with the impossible odds succeeds. It should have been a visual treat. it is a shame to take a book with such sweet romance and turn it into something macabre!
I cannot believe this but i think the mania that follows these books and movies just shows how STUPID these Razzie awards are here!!!

yeah they sucked so bad it made a killing of $700 million in the box office worldwide....ooh the injustice of it all ! Eat that bitter pill Razzies !! Technically it only made 693 million...which is LESS than how much the 2nd one made. Plus, quantity doesn't equal quality.
And they deserve it so much! I hope they win.

They only nominate movies like Eclipse and actors like Sandra Bullock to get free press. Mention the Twilight cast in any way and you are guaranteed free press on sites like celebuzz. Even Twilight fans know that it isn't oscar worthy filmmaking but it is definitely not the worst movie of the year... far from it. I totally agree with you. i love twilight, especially kristen (who has been amazing in EVERY other movie that she has been in) and besides, SANDRA BULLOCK won a razzie... that just shows how stupid these awards truly are. Go Sandra and Kristen! :)
the twilight movies are actually close to the books and dont suck. shes not immune to all vampire powers and the diamond skin is from the authors perspective.

Who the hell are these razzies people anyway!!! They are not even a legitimate award show ,like one of comments said it's an award that no one gives a crap about . They can give the twilight movies all the razzies in the world it will not change the fact that it is loved by a lot of fans who don't give a crap about that stupid award anyway . No matter how many negative comments you guys put out there all 3 actors are going to be fine they all smiling all the way to the bank with their millions ! So keep dissing their acting capabilities , it really doesn't matter , they will still get jobs .. I'm no fan of this series, but am surprised that it got more nominations than "New Moon". By no means was "Eclipse" a masterpiece, but "New Moon" was all kinds of bad.
Oh well who cares...those people at those fake awards want ratings so of course they know anything twilight will do that. So you twi-hards don't pay any attention and ignore these folks keep going to the good sights.
