Staples Every Woman Should Have

Every woman should have a go-to dress in their closet that they feel great in and flatters their body. And you don’t have to stick to a little BLACK dress… in fact, jeweled tones will help to boost your motivation as you prepare your ensemble of accessories and shoes around the color. Don’t forget, makeup is also an “accessory.” Have fun with lip colors or shades of shadows, mascaras, or eyeliners to bring out the best of your entire look.

Key Accessory: Belts

Belts are your besty. It’s the instant weight loss system to whittle your middle. You can find classy or colorful belts anywhere, and wearing one over a dress, blouse, or even a jacket or blazer will instantly create a cinched waistline. I love woven belts because they can easily be adjusted for any body-type. Another trick is to get a reversible belt, maybe with a pattern on one side and a solid color on the other, or simply add your favorite pattern of fabric onto the back of any existing belt.

How To Stand Out: Mix Accessories

Once you have your staple, you don’t have to spend a fortune to add a little flair to your outfit. Today, accessories actually look better mixed and matched. Think silver and gold, pearls and chains, even lace and gems. Pick one area of the body as the “centerpiece” to mix your chosen accessories, (i.e. wrist, neckline, rings), and dress the rest of your outfit around it to avoid going overboard.

Make Your Accessories Work Overtime:

Get more out of your accessories! For example, take a pair of pretty clip-on earrings you have – or you can find them super cheap anywhere from five to twenty five dollars at any accessories or department store. Clip them onto the front of your shoes – it gives instant glitz and glam to polish off your look. It’s a perfect way to add something unique for that special occasion.

Tune Up Ahead of Time

A good tool to have in your tune-up tool bag to look and feel your best is the Yoplait Light Two Week Tune Up. You could lose 5 pounds in 2 weeks – to get ready for any occasion, big or small. Go to for full plan details.

Confidence, Confidence, Confidence

Looking good is all about feeling good. Stand tall… smile… and have fun, no matter where you are. You’ll feel better and your confidence will shine through!
