Christina Aguilera Forgets Words in Super Bowl National Anthem (VIDEO)
All was going well for Aguilera until about 40 seconds into the tune, when she replace "O'er the ramparts we watched" with "what so proudly we watched. After the slip-up, Aguilera seemed a bit rattled, but eventually got back on track and belted out the rest of the lyrics verbatim.Explaining the slip-up, Aguilera tells UsMagazine.com: "I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place ... I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."
She even breathed a sigh of relief before hammering out the final "brave" to a rousing ovation. Check out the video below:

Frankly I think the entire rendition was a disaster. She really butchered the National Anthem, forgetting the words and the yelling and howling....Sad, there are so many artists who would have done a much better job.
I don't know what she was doing but she looked like she was trying to take a dump on the 50-yard line while doing so.
I don't get how these singers think they can take our National Anthem and turn it into crap. I was with a lot of people last night and they all thought she sucked. Not just because she missed words but for actually destroying something that means so much to our country. One of the absolute worst renditions I've ever heard. CRAP CRAP

personally i think she has a great voice..but she just was screaming too much and it wasnt all singing yeah i know thats her style but its getting a little old idk i like her tho but still
