Justin Bieber's Date with Selena, Valentine's Day Plans and More
Justin Bieber is a busy boy in the days leading up to the release of his new film, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, and he's got the headlines to prove it.
The singing/dancing prodigy told Radio Disney (via Parade) all about his Valentine's Day plans with a special lady: His mom Pattie Mallette.
"I think I'm going to get a huge basket and find a lot of cool stuff to put in it," Biebr, 16, told the radio station. "She's always traveling and losing stuff, so I'm going to get stuff she's lost. I'll get her flowers, and take her to lunch."
However, Biebs did reveal the "dream rumor" he wishes he could hear about himself, and it involves a married woman.
On Sunday, Justin was photographed holding hands with Selena Gomez at Santa Monica Pier and he reportedly bought the 18-year-old Disney star chocolate ice cream. According to their vendor, "Selena ordered a kid’s chocolate ice cream in a sugar cone. She tried to pay with her credit card, but Justin took it out of her hand and gave his card instead!"
"Justin didn’t order anything,” the vendor added. “They were really quiet. Honestly, they seemed like very ordinary people."
At Tuesday night's premiere, Bieber told the LA Times that his future plans involve more big screen time: "I'm gonna start doing more movies, start getting more scripts and start finding some things that I really wanna do."
We're guessing that includes a scene or two with comedian Will Ferrell, who he idolizes, according to his manager Scooter Braun, who said, "He knows every line from every Will Ferrell skit on SNL and every movie. In fact, he did a whole interview once just quoting Will Ferrell."
The ultimate Belieber test goes down Wednesday night, as fans will be able to see the movie two days before its official release date on Friday for $30 a ticket. The sneak peek screenings sold out completely weeks ago, totaling 60,000 tickets worth $2 million.
Analysts expect the film's weekend box office debut to be somewhere in between the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour's $31.1 million and The Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience's $12 million.
