Justin Bieber's Hairstylist Reveals Details On New 'Do
Justin Bieber's personal hairstylist reveals that the pop star's seemingly spontaneous haircut was actually six months in the making.
"We’ve been talking about it over the last 6 months or so — more or less," Bieber's hairstylist Vanessa Price tells People's StyleWatch. "It’s definitely been in the works for awhile. Cutting your hair is just part of the evolution and growing process for anyone, and I think he was just ready."
Justin chopped off his hair during TMZ Live earlier this week. The "Baby" hit-maker has put his chopped locks up for auction on eBay where they are currently going for $6,700. All of the proceeds from Justin's hair auction will go to benefit The Gentle Barn.
Watch Justin talk about donating his sheared locks on Ellen after the jump.
While cutting off a few inches from Justin's hair doesn't take up that much time, Justin's hairstylist explains that a lot of thought goes into a pop star's haircut.
"We really orchestrate his hairstyle together," Justin's hairstylist tells People. "He knows what he wants and I know what will work best with his features and hair type."
Justin's stylist also reveals that Bieber has "extra fine hair" that "is like silk."
"He has very, very soft hair," the stylist reveals. "I hope it stays that way forever." As do we!
