My inspiring muse!!! I LOVE ANGELINA!!!
wow pretty
One of the BEST Oscar dresses? Are you kidding me? Maybe this was cute back then, but overall it’s just so Prom-ish…..and not in a good way. Still love her, just not the dress!
Say what you people want about this amazing woman, but THIS is how you do it, Hollywood!
Oh dear, Jenny…this is worse than Gwyneth’s pink prom dress. I like the top but the skirt just ruins it for me.
just what i thought
Maybe i=if it was of the same material as the top, a little shorter and overall, not so puffy and SHINY…
if the skirt wasn’t so puffy, and was a lil more shorter it would have been good, i think
One of my fav dresses ever, no doubt about that. Any other color, any other hairstyle, make-up…would’ve just ruined this, but Cruz pulled it off gorgeously.
Not too crazy about the little piece of fabric on the empire line, but overall a beautiful dress.
Speechless…in a bad way. Who made this list?
what she said .
LOL. Celebuzz should seriously rethink this writer’s fashion style!
Wedding dress much?
I love Emily! And her dress is just gorgeous, like her. She’s like a better version of Katy Perry. (If you haven’t noticed the smilarities between these two…I don’t know what to say)
seriously dude you rock !
Aww…I’m blushing! :p
My mom has something EXACTLY like this. Never a good thing to hear when it comes to fashion!
A perfect example of a gorgeous dress with the misfortune to be styled with a unsuitable hairstyle.
Simple and elegant. Could’ve left the train out though.
Oh God, I love this lady…and her dress. Can’t imagine Pirates without her!
Nice dress…for a summer party, maybe. And her make-up is just plain unflattering.
I think you’ll find you mean ‘Renee Zellweger shone’, not ‘shined’. Mind you, that’s about the level of grammatical accuracy I would expect from a piece as lazy as this- planning to include any outfits from over 15 years ago in your ‘best-dressed of all time’ list? What a load of crap.
WHY just WHY do people say its one of the best oscar dresses of all time . look at it its ugly esp on her
i have so much respect for this woman’s style
i like it she pulls it off
no!
the back is good but the front is just blah
Reminds me of Anne Hathaway’s recent Golden Globes dress. Same bare-back design, but Hathaway’s was shimmery and had…puffy sleeves! (shudders)
to me i think your just showing the best actresses of all time who came to the oscars not best dressed .
and i dont mean that comment for her just saying
It was promish then and bridesmaid hideous NOW. Gwen is no fashion icon, she has no taste then or now. YUCK, YUCK, YUCK!!! Was (is) this writer blind?
I second that! It’s a shame really because that lady has talent and she’s by no means ugly.
Is this supposed to be a list of the best EVER? She looks good — for Courtney. But there are SO many dresses that should be here instead.
she should wear a dress that accentuates her, um, thin frame…that dress exaggerates it. Plus, IT’S WRINKLED.
go back to the 50′s and 60′s and you’ll find the best oscar dresses. pretty dress.
melow yellow…terrible posture
beautiful
she is the true meaning of ‘lipstick on a pig’
dress looks unfinished
you’re reading my mind
this title is all wrong. the oscars have been arond longer than a couple decades. I seriously doubt the outfits you picked are the best EVER. There was a time when fashion truly meant something.
to be honest….it looks like one of those ‘I had nothing to wear so I’m wearing this’ type of outfits…NOT oscar-worthy…TACKY
it’s not pretty or cute at all! she looks like a cheap Barbie
i don’t like her movies, but i like the way she dresses
she looks like a cheap barbie, it isn’t cute or pretty at all
pretty!!!!
UGLY
ok, the fabric looks like a table napkin, a cheap one
i agree with E, but why don’t you put the pictures from top to down?? we can’t see the shoes! of anybody!
Tell me about it! Some of the best outfits have been ruined by horrendous shoes and some of the most unlikely dresses have been saved by GREAT shoes!
i think she looks stunning
she should have took off the flowers
i agree
except the grammatical part
they got that right.
I second pretty much everyone’s comments thus far. Where’s Nicole Kidman’s red Balenciaga dress? Anne Hathaway’s shimmery Armani Prive? And…dare I say it…some of J.Lo’s better fashion choices? No, not the nightmare of a Versace.
Let’s all just agree that whoever is responsible of this article is really, REALLY sloppy, language and fashion wise.
It’s something even my GRANDMOTHER would shudder at. I’m afraid the writer needs a refresher course on the Oscars and how long the ceremony has been around.
Ya, the dress would have been nicer on someone with a bit more flesh. GP is just too skinny for this – she looks like, yes, a senior going to the prom.
I like her simplicity. None of her dresses are the flashy, showy kind & she always pulls it off.
I don’t think the paleness of the pink goes with her pale skin.
I’ve seen better?
I’m not sure the colour suits her skin
