Love the color, the design, her cheekbones are the best.

Between her in Jennifer Lopez--Damn that is truly a pair that beat's a full-house. :)

seriously? this is famous for being one of the WORST Oscar dresses. So badly fitted !

I'm not sure the colour suits her skin

    I've seen better?

I don't think the paleness of the pink goes with her pale skin.

I like her simplicity. None of her dresses are the flashy, showy kind & she always pulls it off.

Ya, the dress would have been nicer on someone with a bit more flesh. GP is just too skinny for this - she looks like, yes, a senior going to the prom.

It's something even my GRANDMOTHER would shudder at. I'm afraid the writer needs a refresher course on the Oscars and how long the ceremony has been around.

Let's all just agree that whoever is responsible of this article is really, REALLY sloppy, language and fashion wise.

Reminds me of Anne Hathaway's recent Golden Globes dress. Same bare-back design, but Hathaway's was shimmery and had...puffy sleeves! (shudders)

Tell me about it! Some of the best outfits have been ruined by horrendous shoes and some of the most unlikely dresses have been saved by GREAT shoes!

  • E
    E

    Aww...I'm blushing! :p

I second pretty much everyone's comments thus far. Where's Nicole Kidman's red Balenciaga dress? Anne Hathaway's shimmery Armani Prive? And...dare I say it...some of J.Lo's better fashion choices? No, not the nightmare of a Versace.

LOL. Celebuzz should seriously rethink this writer's fashion style!

  • E

Maybe i=if it was of the same material as the top, a little shorter and overall, not so puffy and SHINY...

  • E
    E

I second that! It's a shame really because that lady has talent and she's by no means ugly.

she looks like a cheap barbie, it isn't cute or pretty at all

  • sona

if the skirt wasn't so puffy, and was a lil more shorter it would have been good, i think

  • sona
    sona

i don't like her movies, but i like the way she dresses

to be honest....it looks like one of those 'I had nothing to wear so I'm wearing this' type of outfits...NOT oscar-worthy...TACKY

  • momof3

this title is all wrong. the oscars have been arond longer than a couple decades. I seriously doubt the outfits you picked are the best EVER. There was a time when fashion truly meant something.

go back to the 50's and 60's and you'll find the best oscar dresses. pretty dress.

she should wear a dress that accentuates her, um, thin frame...that dress exaggerates it. Plus, IT'S WRINKLED.

  • Lucie Melahn

Is this supposed to be a list of the best EVER? She looks good -- for Courtney. But there are SO many dresses that should be here instead.

It was promish then and bridesmaid hideous NOW. Gwen is no fashion icon, she has no taste then or now. YUCK, YUCK, YUCK!!! Was (is) this writer blind?

  • Anne

to me i think your just showing the best actresses of all time who came to the oscars not best dressed . and i dont mean that comment for her just saying

WHY just WHY do people say its one of the best oscar dresses of all time . look at it its ugly esp on her

  • Laura
    Laura

I think you'll find you mean 'Renee Zellweger shone', not 'shined'. Mind you, that's about the level of grammatical accuracy I would expect from a piece as lazy as this- planning to include any outfits from over 15 years ago in your 'best-dressed of all time' list? What a load of crap.

  • E

Nice dress...for a summer party, maybe. And her make-up is just plain unflattering.

  • E
    E

Oh God, I love this lady...and her dress. Can't imagine Pirates without her!

  • E
    E

Simple and elegant. Could've left the train out though.

  • E
    E

A perfect example of a gorgeous dress with the misfortune to be styled with a unsuitable hairstyle.

  • E
    E

My mom has something EXACTLY like this. Never a good thing to hear when it comes to fashion!

  • E
    E

I love Emily! And her dress is just gorgeous, like her. She's like a better version of Katy Perry. (If you haven't noticed the smilarities between these two...I don't know what to say)

  • E
    E

    Wedding dress much?

  • E
    E

Speechless...in a bad way. Who made this list?

  • E
    E

Not too crazy about the little piece of fabric on the empire line, but overall a beautiful dress.

  • E
    E

One of my fav dresses ever, no doubt about that. Any other color, any other hairstyle, make-up...would've just ruined this, but Cruz pulled it off gorgeously.

  • E
    E

Oh dear, Jenny...this is worse than Gwyneth's pink prom dress. I like the top but the skirt just ruins it for me.

  • E
    E

Say what you people want about this amazing woman, but THIS is how you do it, Hollywood!

  • E
    E

One of the BEST Oscar dresses? Are you kidding me? Maybe this was cute back then, but overall it's just so Prom-ish.....and not in a good way. Still love her, just not the dress!
