Police Raid Charlie Sheen's Home, Possibly Looking for Weapons After Alleged Distress Call
Thursday night, police swarmed Charlie Sheen's home -- supposedly looking for guns. The "winning" actor was reported to be completely calm and casually interacted with police as the dramatic scene played out in his gated community.
ET reports that Charlie was seen in his backyard shaking hands with authorities after five LAPD squad cars swarmed his home. His rep told them:
"LAPD is here for alleged violation of the restraining order."Sources told several media outlets that police were called in to remove firearms alleged to be inside the house. TMZ noted that the restraining order obtained by ex-wife Brooke Mueller bars him from owning weapons. In addition, they reported that the raid was in response to a call that claimed Charlie threatened to harm himself with a firearm.
Police conducted their search and wrapped up fairly quickly; no arrests were made.
Charlie later tweeted:
"All good here on home front. All reports are false. I'll explain more very soon."
"The LAPD were AWESOME. Absolute pros! They can protect and serve this Warlock anytime!!!"
