Lady Gaga Surprises Crowd at Kentucky Drag Club (VIDEO)
Lady Gaga surprised a large group of drag queen fans when she made a guest appearance at a drag club in Kentucky over the weekend.
Gaga, 25, joined a very tall Gaga impersonator to sing a live version of her hit song, "Born This Way," at Connection – a gay bar in Louisville, Kentucky. Gaga strutted around the stage in butt-less tights while the Gaga impersonator jiggled and gyrated in the background.
Naturally, the crowd went wild and chanted along with Gaga as she sang "don't be a drag, just be a queen." Gaga was in Louisville as part of her world tour.
Gaga has a very strong connection to the gay community and said she was inspired to write "Born This Way" as a gay anthem. The singer recently called her fans (which she affectionately calls her "little monsters") to action to urge politicians to repeal Don't Ask Don't Tell, which barred gays from serving in the military.
This isn't the first time that Gaga has supported her drag queen fans – the singer tweeted a sweet note to NYC drag queen Sherry Vine after the queen posted a YouTube parody of Gaga's "Born This Way." Click here to watch the (slightly NSFW) video.
