Meet the Ladies of Sucker Punch
Young Hollywood starlets Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Vanessa Hudgens and Jamie Chung team up in the hopes of Sucker Punch-ing their box office competition this weekend. The action-packed fantasy film Sucker Punch is set in the 1950s and follows a young girl’s attempt to escape an asylum with her inmate friends facing the threat of a lobotomy. Director Zack Snyder describes the film as “Alice in Wonderland with machine guns,” complete with dragons, B-25 bombers and brothels.
The star-studded ensemble cast proves to be a force to be reckoned with on-screen, but who are these fierce females? Celebuzz has compiled a guide to the leading ladies of Sucker Punch.
Emily Browning
Australian beauty Emily Browning leads the cast as Baby Doll–the fearless leader of this flock of femme fatales. After being sent to a mental institution by her step-father, she decides to escape to freedom with the help of her friends.
Where You’ve Seen Her Before: Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Uninvited and Darkness Falls.
Jena Malone
No stranger to strong and complex characters, Jena Malone takes on the role of the outspoken Rocket in the film.
Where You’ve Seen Her Before: Pride & Prejudice, Saved! and The Soloist
Vanessa Hudgens
A far cry from her sugary sweet Disney roles in the past, Hudgens plays the street-smart and hard-edged Blondie in the film.
Where You’ve Seen Her Before: Beastly, High School Musical 1, 2 & 3 and on the arm of ex-boyfriend Zac Efron
Abbie Cornish
This Aussie starlet was cast in the role of the reluctant and soft-spoken Sweet Pea.
Where You’ve Seen Her Before: Limitless, Stop-Loss, Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Bright Star
Jamie Chung
This California Girl replaced Emma Stone in the original Sucker Punch lineup and stars as the fiercely loyal and feisty Amber.
Where You’ve Seen Her Before: Grown Ups, Sorority Row and this year’s The Hangover Part II

Jamie Chung is my fav !
is that someone famous?
She’s known pretty well in Australia
Because in the 50′s all the chicks in the insane asylum lounged around in corsets all day.
Well in the 1950s women had yet to earn the right to vote, so yeah.
I went to see this movie thinking: “How bad could it be?”
The answer was, “AHHH-ewwgross, whatthefuck, whyyy”, though I may not be spelling that correctly.
That movie was HORRIBLE! I mean i expected it to be way different than it was, the previews made it look really good. Buuuut we went to watch it last night and made fun of it all the way home.
Not gonna add any spoilers here, but if you wanna watch a movie about girls being put into sexual slavery and blacking out into their own lame world when they have to do things, then go ahead :)
If you’re into that kind of thing.
I did kinda like the main actress though. :)
The acting was good.
Se ven muy bonitas las actrices de Sucker Punch, pero insisto en que la más bonita es Vanessa, y le sentó muy bien haber terminado con Zack. I love U Ne§
