Christina Aguilera and Matt Rutler Steam Up the Back Seat With Makeout Session (PHOTOS)
Having a chauffeur is good for several things. If you're Christina Aguilera and Matt Rutler, who recently had a run-in with the law that resulted in a DUI charge for Mr. Rutler and a public intoxication mishap for Aguilera, it allows you to have as much fun as you want without worrying about who's driving home. It also leaves ample time for back seat makeout sessions.
Oh yes, the ultimate spot for high school necking was in full use for the happy couple on Saturday night. After the two spent a night out at dinner at Giorgio Baldi's in Santa Monica, Aguilera and Rutler just couldn't keep their hands -- or tongues -- off of each other as they headed home courtesy of a driver. Thankfully things didn't get too hot and heavy, otherwise there could have been a hazardous foggy window condition for the poor driver.
On March 1, Aguilera found herself in some legal trouble after being taken into police custody for public intoxication while her Rutler was arrested for driving under the influence.
According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department:
At 2:45 A.M. Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Deputies assigned to West Hollywood station conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Clark Street, West Hollywood, regarding a Drunk Driving investigation. The driver, Matthew Rutler, was determined to be driving while under the influence of alcohol and arrested. Christina Aguilera was the passenger in the vehicle. Deputies determined Aguilera was intoxicated. Since she was not able to care for her safety and no one was available to ensure her safety, Aguilera was taken into custody. Sheriff’s Department officials stressed that she was not involved in any criminal activity and will be released when she can safely care for herself.
TMZ initially reported that Aguilera was arrested and booked at 2:45 in the morning after being taken into custody in West Hollywood, but it was then cleared up and confirmed that Aguilera was detained, but not arrested. According to the LA Times, she was released on $250 bail.
There has been much speculation about Aguilera’s well-being lately, as various reports from sources and friends claimed the songstress has been spiraling out of control since her divorce from husband Jordan Bratman.
Aguilera performed at The Grammys earlier in February, delivering a strirring verse in the show’s Aretha Franklin tribute, but what made even more headlines was when she fell on stage shortly afterwards. Watch a video below:
