Ashley Greene, Freida Pinto and Emma Stone Get ‘Glamour’-ous
Actresses Ashley Greene, Emma Stone and Freida Pinto all snagged individual covers for the April issue of the magazine, with each appearing in a different floral-colored get-up. It is spring, after all! Greene opens up to the magazine about what direction she’s hoping to take her career post-Twilight, and if you couldn’t already figure it out, she really doesn’t want to have to play a teenager anymore.
“I want to play a role of a 24-year-old woman, not 17-year-old girls. So I have picked a couple of films like Butter to show that. And it’s perfectly fine not to do anything for a year if I don’t find the right thing,” Greene said.
She also says that she knows her fame makes her a role model, so “I’m not going to get drunk at a bar. There are younger girls who look up to me. So I do my best not to stray too far.”
“I think people are starting to become more color-blind in the industry. Of course, my Indian-ness cannot be ignored. At the same time, if I am being considered for a romantic comedy, I would like if [the script] didn’t try to inject as much ethnicity into the story as possible,” Pinto said.
As for Emma, her star power might be on the rise, but she’s still got a good head on her shoulders, including when it comes to relationships.
“The one thing that needs to be there is that indefinable spark of sorts. But I’m 22 years old…. I have no idea what I’m talking about,” Emma joked.
