Angelina Jolie Visits Refugees in Tunisia, Hints at Adopting New Child (PHOTOS)
UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie brought her beautiful presence to Tunisia on Tuesday to meet with Libyan and Somalian refugees to bring attention to the families and individuals who were displaced because of wars in their respective countries.
"We would encourage others, individuals and governments, to continue to support and assist with the needs on the ground [of the refugees]," Angelina said. "They're waiting here with little hope, unable to return home and unsure of what's to come. This constant cycle of displacement must finally come to an end."
Read on for more info about the African refugees and Angie's possible hint at adopting a new child to add to her family.
The mother of six met with families and women within the Choucha Camp – a special area set aside for refugees near the Tunisian-Libyan border. The current conflict in Libya has resulted in 440,000 Libyans fleeing the country with 217,000 of those refugees settling in Tunisia.
In other non-Goodwill mission Angie news, the Salt star recently debuted a new tattoo on her left arm (pictured above) that lists the possible map coordinates of Algeria. However, In Touch magazine reports that the coordinates are actually of Brad Pitt's birthplace in Oklahoma. The seven-line long tattoo includes the geographical coordinates of the birthplace locations for all of Jolie's children. Hm, does this mean that Angie is gearing up to adopt a seventh child? Considering that half of the tattoo is covered in the photo, we'll wait until we get a decent photo of the new tattoo to make any judgment calls.Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr for more news and photos!
