Robert Pattinson Talks Idols, Fashion, & Kristen Stewart
Know what makes a guy sexy? When he doesn't think he is sexy. Case and point: Robert Pattinson.
In an interview with Madame Figaro (thanks RPLife!) Rob is asked if he is like his suave character in Bel Ami. "Oh no! I'm no Don Juan," Pattinson says during his interview in Los Angeles recently. "I have no sex appeal."
Celebuzz, and we're sure Kristen Stewart, tend to disagree. Especially since Rob gave his girlfriend just about the best compliment possible.
Pattinson, 24, starts talking about his role models (he picks Marlon Brando, whom we totally approve of) and says when it comes to female actresses he likes Katharine Hepburn, saying she has class but is "so rough and so funny."
"Kristen Stewart, whom I admire," Rob says, "has a small side of Hepburn."
When asked if he really meant Katharine, not the popular pick Audrey Hepburn, he sticks with his choice saying Audrey is "a bit too girly."
That's one of the biggest honors you can give an actress in our opinion! Plus let's face it, he is describing Kristen. And the sly compliments don't end there.
Rob says for a woman to be attractive she must have an idea "about the meaning of life," read, and have a sense of elegance. While RP doesn't mean physically, he does go off on a tangent saying he can appreciate when a girl has a good fashion sense siting designers like Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Proenza Schouler.
Any good Twilight fashionista knows Kristen's go-to is Proenza Schouler and Chanel.
Off the top of our head, just a few examples of K.Stew in Proenza Schouler is at the London New Moon premiere plus her most recent Vogue cover (and inside shots), and who can forget Kristen in Chanel at the Met Gala or BAFTA's (just to name a few).
Some may find it frustrating, but we like how these Twilight lovers handle their relationship in the media. It makes digging for their subtle compliments to each other something to do, right?
