Jessica Simpson Honors the Troops With First Lady Michelle Obama (PHOTOS)
It was a star spangled night for Jessica Simpson, who stood side-by-side with the First Lady Michelle Obama to pay homage to military families.
Simpson belted out the National Anthem at a special viewing event for the families of American soldiers during the Colorado Rockies vs. New York Mets game on Wednesday night. Jessica rejoiced about her invite, saying: “The First Lady asked me to sing for the troops. That’s a huge honor for me. Just to be there and show my support and say thank you.”
Jessica’s return to the microphone is likely a welcome invite, as she’s been busy turning her clothing line into a nearly billion-dollar industry titan of late.
In her personal life, Jessica is still giddy and waiting to walk down the aisle after getting engaged late last year to Eric Johnson. There’s no wedding date set for the happy couple.
